Nicole Renee Nuss
Originally from Pennsylvania, Nicole moved to California in 2010 after finishing up
graduate school and being offered an editor position in the Bay Area. She then spent the
next 13+ years loving Northern California’s cool-weathered summers and mild, rainy
winters, knowing the West Coast was the perfect fit for her. Although forever proud of her
Northeast roots — and after talking to her for all of five minutes, you’ll know she’s still very
much an East Coaster at her core — she now happily calls a sleepy Oregon coastal town her
home.
As the first member of her family to graduate college, Nicole carries her humble, hard-
working upbringing with her throughout life. She owned and operated a bakery in
Berkeley, Calif. for 10 years, and when she moved to Oregon, she took the business and
financial knowledge she gained over that decade and began applying it to the mortgage
industry.
Nicole enjoys working with business owners, as she has first-hand experience buying
homes as a single, self-employed borrower. But she is most passionate about educating
first-time homebuyers and holding their hand throughout the mortgage loan process.
Nicole describes herself as dependable, honest, a strategic planner who likes to be ahead of
deadlines, obsessively organized and detail-oriented, and she truly wants to be the very
best loan officer you’ll ever work with. She’s also probably the most sarcastic person you’ll
ever meet with a deeply self-depreciating sense of humor.
Nicole’s perfect day consists of being home with her four rescue dogs and four rescue cats,
watching either her beloved Phillies (hopefully win!) or a Law & Order marathon, and then
walking the dogs to the nearby beach, which makes them literally jump for joy.

Nicole is a longtime advocate for senior dog and cat adoption. As a mortgage loan officer
licensed in California and Oregon, she donates 5% of her commission on every closed loan
